I'm excited that you have so many great and unique clothing options. I've already told other friends to visit your web site because of the great prices and variety.

Thank you very much for your reply. (And thank you for your help with my last order! I really REALLY love my new black velvet jacket!) I will go ahead and place my next order for the moss green thai silk. I think I will go with the standard shipping because I am leaving for a two week trip on September 5, and it may be pushing it a little to expect it in time. Plus, given limited luggage space, I'm not certain that I would even take the moss green jacket with me anyway (though the black velvet is already guaranteed an honored place in my suitcase!). I'll look forward to getting the green jacket when I get home! Thank you again for all your help!

In ancient times, Chinese used plant leaves or bird feather as a fan to create a breeze in summer. This was the most primitive form of the fan. The first real fan was made back in the era of Yao and Shun thousands of years ago. The fan has constituted an important part of Chinese art and culture since then.
Initially, the fan functioned as a tool to generate a current of air in hot weather or to help start a fire. Now electric fans such as ceiling fans have taken the place. Other functions of the fan remain.
Fans became to catch the attention of ancient Chinese artists unknowingly. Thereafter, a unique fine art gradually took shape in the history of Chinese fine art. Fan art usually includes Chinese calligraphy, paintings, or poems on the sectors. Special skills are needed to write or paint on them subject to different types of fans and different materials used. It's much more difficult than doing the same thing on a piece of smooth paper. One of the most favorite types among calligraphers is the folded fan with paper sectors.
This is a folded fan which printed the Pindola and tiger with introduction on both surfaces.
Pindola was a Brahmin and a general. Because he was devoted to Buddhism, which forbids killing, he was ordered by the king to become a monk. He joined a monastery in the mountains where he could hear a tiger howling every day. He said that the tiger was probably hungry and should be fed some vegetarian food. Otherwise the tiger might become a man-eater. So Pindola collected food from the monks and put it in a bucket which he left outside the monastery. The tiger did come for the food every night. After a period of time, the tiger was tamed. Thus Pindola was referred to as the Taming Tiger Lohan.
