Bright Orange Dinner Candle Featured

A candle is a source of light, and sometimes a source of heat, consisting of a solid block of fuel (commonly wax) and an embedded wick. Today, most candles are made from paraffin. Candles can also be made from beeswax, soy and other plant waxes, and tallow (a by-product of beef-fat rendering). Gel candles are made from a mixture of paraffin and plastic. Candle making as a craft is also an art form. The potential for making beautiful candles is often endless. The plethora of different colors, scents and moulds will invariably lead to the beautiful and unique candles. The materials are delightful to work with; the soft texture of wax, the kaleidoscopic of the colour dyes, and the aromatic scents-all contribute to the prosperous candle industry. Today, candles are used mainly for their aesthetic value and scent, particularly to create a soft, warm, or romantic ambiance.

Warning:

Remove any packaging and read all instructions.

Place in a proper non-flammable holder and on a safe heat resistant dry surface.

Keep away from combustibles.

Do not allow the flame to touch any glass surface.

Trim wick to 1/8-1/4" before lighting. Smoking or fluttering may occur if the wick is too long.

Keep matches, lighters and lit candles away from children and pets.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Avoid drafts for even burning and keep wick centered.

Never leave matches, trimming or combustibles in the wax pool.

If wick is too short, push away some wax from the unlit wick. Allow to burn for a couple hours.

Cool the candle in the refrigerator a few minutes before using. This extends the burning time.

Don't leave it in the refrigerator too long or it will put cracks in the candle.
