PRODUCT DESCRIPTON top of page

Dou Erdun was an owner of a mountain village and a rebel in the Qing Dynasty. Some dramas had Dou Erdun as chief roles, such as "Gathering of Heroes", "Stealing Horses" and "Chain Traps. This mask is Dou Erdun, who was a Robin Hood type of character in Qing Dynasty (1644~1911) China. He stole the Emperor's steed to take revenge on the Royal Guard chief. His story was adapted to a very popular Beijing Opera play.

  • Taishi Ci (166 - 206 AD) was a Chinese military officer who served during the time of the Three Kingdoms era.
