Papercut is a kind of Chinese folk art, and its history can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. It is originally for religious purposes, as time went on, it has been widely used as a decoration pasted on a wall, door, mirror, lamp, lantern and window of the house. The skilled craftsmen cut a variety of patterns with a scissor in a piece of paper. Most of the papercut artists are women. The themes of their works usually include everything in people's daily life from dumb things to the surroundings. Papercuts are very well-known in China, and on any happy occasions the Chinese prefer papercuts as decorations to create a pleasant atmosphere for the family. This papercut is patterned with Chinese Character Fu, many fruits and golden fish. You may choose gorgeous papercuts to paste on windows and doors of your house. Or you may make papercut mounted in a picture frame, hanging it as a wall decoration, your house decoration will present a tasteful and classical look.
