Hand Painted Porcelain Mirror with Jade Handle ---Jia Tanchun Featured

You are looking at an exquisite porcelain hand painted mirror trimmed in silver. The handle is genuine light green jade.

Jia Tanchun was a beauty in Chinese famous novel Hong Long Meng( A dream of red mansions).

Jia Tanchun although her mother was a concubine of her father, she herself was keen-witted, and capable, daring and resolute in behavior as well. All members of Jia's, old and young, took her as a savior to hold back the "desperate situation" of the family, and yet unable to "mend the sky" in the end, she married a man lived in a far place, isolated from her own kin.

From the top of the mirror to the bottom of the jade handle it measures 5"1/4 long.

The mirror measures 2"1/2 D, and is in excellent condition.

You can hang it by some kind of cord from your waist for convenience to use.
