Dear GoodOrient, I just want to say I\'ve had the chance to thoroughly try out all the clothes I bought last December, and I love them all to bits. Even though I\'m very tall, the custom made long gown I ordered fits perfectly and looks incredible to boot (and I wouldn\'t have been able to find a gown of my size in the shops here.) All the other clothes fit perfectly too and go really well with each other and the rest of my wardrobe. I love the design and quality of the fans as well. All in all I\'m absolutely coming back to goodorient next time I need new outfits. Best of thanks!

I've just forgotten to write you to tell how pleased I was with the long Chinese coat I ordered - and even more pleased was my good friend in our t'ai chi ch'uan association who received it as a gift for his 60 birthday! How fabulous and magnificent the Cheongsam is! Cheongsam, also known as qipao or mandarin gown, is well-known for its elegance and beauty, so it is highly popular either on casual or formal occasions.
This blue cheongsam is an outer garment with short sleeves, covering the body down to the mid-calfs. The color of the Cheongsam resembles the beautiful sea, giving people a feeling of peace and gentleness. Made of blue silk with baskets of flowers patterns, sort of like colorful flowers blooming in the garden, this blue cheongsam is especially accentuating the figures and charms of women. You will see cloisonne buttons are decorated near the mandarin collar. Cloisonne is a kind of Chinese traditional handicraft art and it needs a lot of labor. Both sides are made with slits toward the thigh and the length of the cheongsam is to mid-calf. The cheongsam is tailored with Fuchsia lining and an invisible zipper is on the center of back side.
If you are in such a beautiful Cheongsam, you will be more elegant and graceful. In a pub in Shanghai, you are dressed in the gorgeous cheongsam, having a cup of coffee, chatting with some friends, you will be enjoying a romantic atmosphere of Old Shanghai, sort of like the heroin in the movie, named the mood for love.
